Vista Station

In 2009, Boyer received a contract to develop 147 acres of farmland in the city of Draper, Utah. The site overlooked more than 500 acres of nature preserve, providing unprecedented views of all seven major mountain peaks of the Wasatch range for future tenants. As part of the development, the Boyer team collaborated with Gardner to create a master plan that capitalized on the site’s unique position to the future UTA Frontrunner station, between I-15 and Bangerter Highway.

This transit-oriented development placed this element at the forefront of the design, providing future employees, residence patrons, users, and operators convenient access to transit and its connecting locations along the Salt Lake and Utah County. Ultimately the development included approximately 1.7 million square feet of office and approximately 1,100 housing units.

To this day, Vista Station continues to attract the state’s best businesses. Competing with nearby Silicon Slopes, the development offers unmatched opportunities for companies around the state. For instance, StorageCraft, a current tenant of Vista Station, operates in a 125,000-square-foot, five-story building built as part of the development. Progressive Leasing also operates out of the largest building of the infrastructure that is a six-story 150,000-square-foot tower.

These tenants and all others of Vista Station easily commute using the UTA Frontrunner station, which connects to Provo, Salt Lake City, and the International Airport, with plans of expanding in the future.
