The objective for this building was to develop an ambulatory surgical center with a group of ENT physicians and provide them with the maximum flexibility in regards to the project's overall eventual ownership. The physicians associated with the Great Lakes Surgical Center were focused on the operational side of the surgical center. However, a number of the physicians had previously owned their own offices and from the outset of the project expressed some interest in pooling their resources so they could own the surgical center as well. As a result, the initial documentation signed between Boyer Healthcare Properties and the Great Lakes Surgical Center allowed for the physicians to exercise a number of options.
