The Hastings Surgical Center was developed by Boyer Healthcare Properties in conjunction with its ongoing partnership with Neuterra Healthcare located in Leewood, Kansas. Neuterra Healthcare is contracted by the surgical center to provide operations management, essentially acting as the facility's tenant. Hastings Surgical Properties, a group of local medical professionals acting as owners of the building, contracted with Boyer to perform development services for the facility. These services included construction management, city planning, budget supervision and ongoing updates and interaction with the physician investors.
The facility is a one-story outpatient ambulatory surgical center that serves the medical community of the greater Hastings-Grand Island, Nebraska region. The underlying purpose in constructing a facility of its nature is to allow physician investors to own medical real estate in this rural community where they practice medicine.
