This building in Idaho Falls was constructed for the Bureau of Land Management. The facility consists of offices, covered truck storage, and warehouse buildings. The original structure, built in 1995, was approximately 46,000 square feet. In 2001, a 15,000 square foot office area was added. The main office buildings are single story slab-on-grade masonry buildings with seamless metal roofs. Built to conform to strict GSA SFO requirements, the buildings incorporate an enhanced mechanical design. Using the enhanced technology has resulted in an energy efficient building.
The interior of the building consists of a number of private offices as well as large areas of open space for systems furniture. The building also includes large conference rooms, a mail room, break rooms, and an exercise room. The main entrance opens into a lobby that extends into vaulted ceiling area.
The ware yard consists of the warehouse and covered truck storage areas. This area provides covered parking for vehicles and equipment, storage areas, wash bays, and general storage. This area is secured by an electronic sliding chain link gate.
