The Boyer Company was selected by the Mesa Gateway Airport Authority to develop over 270 acres on the east side of the airport. The project, known as Gateway East, went through and extensive master planning and approval process with the City of Mesa. The approved plan includes specific areas for hotel, retail, office and industrial development. The Boyer Company is partnering with Western States Lodging on the projects first hotel offering, a 127 bed Marriott Springhill Suites. The hotel is currently in the City of Mesa permit process and is scheduled to be complete in late 2026. The hotel will benefit from the growing employment center as well as from the Arizona Athletic Grounds which is located directly across the street.
