Government Development Projects

The Boyer Company greatly values its long-standing relationship with Municipal, State, and Federal Government entities, which has been strengthened through both the development process and the long-term management of facilities occupied by government employees. Boyer has assembled a team of development professionals with the experience and expertise to provide the flexibility necessary to deliver a project in a timely manner while complying with government statutes and protecting the interests of the taxpayer.

What can Boyer’s experienced Government Building Team do for you?

Developing and constructing new buildings on behalf of government clients requires expertise and knowledge that not every company maintains. Boyer has vast experience with specialized government requirements, processes, and design criteria. This provides the critical foundation necessary for the Boyer government team to deliver your project with less time spent on educating the team on standards and policies and more time focused on project quality, delivery process, and delivering a facility that meets our government partner’s needs.

As an experienced government building developer, we offer the following benefits:

Architecture Planning and Design

As a full-service developer, we offer all aspects of the development process for government buildings. The Boyer Company government building team maintains strong relationships with leading architects, engineers and specialty consultants that are critical to the successful development of new government buildings. We understand that government buildings require a unique approach to design. We will build an integrated design team that is strategically assembled for each project. During the design, construction, and turnover phase, The Boyer Company will provide hands-on management and oversight of the design team to ensure government requirements are being met and requested modifications and enhancements are incorporated in a time and cost sensitive manner.

Compliance with Federal Lease Contracts

The Boyer Company understands and appreciates the requirement to comply with the unique specifications, legal terms, and socio-economic mandates often included in government lease contracts. A new project cannot be successful if a team does not include these important considerations into a project delivery plan. Many government lease contracts require the project to stay within the budget while following all rules and regulations. Or some government lease contracts may require different laws, making the process more complex. Through the years, Boyer has demonstrated the ability to comply with government lease contracts while delivering exceptional buildings that set the standard.

Building Development and Project Management

Boyer’s internal government building development team will comprise of a development project executive to provide a single point of contact for the government partner, and the full resources available from Boyer’s internal construction management department. In addition to providing overall project leadership and oversight, Boyer’s government building team will provide detailed management of project schedule, budget, procurement, contract compliance and conformance with the government’s specifications and special requirements. Our experienced construction managers are results-oriented, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and being committed to the project’s success as a whole.

The Boyer Company typically develops and constructs new buildings to be held in our company owned portfolio. This ownership results in a focus during both design and construction on quality, durability, efficiency, and long-term performance. As a result, Boyer’s long-term ownership focus produces attributes that are ingrained in our company’s processes and project approach. The Boyer Company has continued to thrive and we are confident our government client’s will experience similar benefits when working on future projects.
